Westar Foods raises $15,000 for the National Military Family Association
Westar Foods’ 29 Hardee’s® throughout Iowa held an in-store fundraising campaign that raised $15,000 that benefited local veterans and their families. Funds raised went directly to Iowa-based beneficiaries of the National Military Family Association (NMFA). NMFA has programs designed for vets that encourage healing, help to reduce challenges and overcome obstacles. Through frequent moves, deployments, wartime stress, injury and loss, military families need support. This donation makes it possible for NMFA to make a difference in the lives of local Iowa service members, spouses and their children.
